Admissions 


Please be assured that your pet will receive excellent care while staying in our hospital.

If your pet has any special requirements, please advise us upon admission to the hospital.

For cats and dogs, feeding instructions for the night before surgery are as follows:  No food after 7 P.M. Water is okay through the night, just pick it up first thing in the morning.

For specific feeding instructions pertaining to any other species, please contact our office.

Admission time is between 8 A.M. and 9 A.M. on Mondays, as well as Wednesday through Friday.  Admissions for Tuesdays are done between 7 A.M. and 9 A.M.  If these times conflict with your schedule, we also allow for admissions between 4 P.M. and 6 P.M. the night prior to the scheduled surgery.  We will call you the day prior to your pet's scheduled surgery to confirm your admission time and feeding instructions.  Please allow for approximately 1/2 hour for the admission process. You will be seeing the doctor on the way in, so if you have any questions feel free to ask them then. If you have any other questions, please give us a call.

Pets having routine surgical procedures will go home the day after surgery between 9 A.M. and 6 P.M. (unless other arrangements are made). If surgery is performed on Friday, discharge is between 9 A.M. and 1 P.M. on Saturday. Other procedures, such as dental cleanings, may be discharged on the same day. Please ask your doctor if you are unsure as to when your pet will be going home.

We will call you in the afternoon of the surgery day to give you an update on your pet's condition. Please supply a telephone number where you may be reached.

Pets may be picked up at our Discharge Desk which is located through the side door.

Payment in full for your pet's surgical expenses are due upon discharge. We accept cash, checks, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and ATM cards. If you have any questions concerning charges or payments, please discuss them with us upon admission.

Please be advised that we now offer "Care Credit", a credit card for veterinary services. If you are interested in more information about this credit card, please inquire at the desk.
