Exams & Vaccines

In order to keep your companion in optimum health, annual physical exams and vaccinations are highly recommended. Wellness exams can identify health conditions before they become serious and help prevent future illness.

In addition to seeing pets for routine appointments at our main hospital, Bolton Veterinary Hospital opened its very own satellite clinic in September 2014. Our satellite clinic, The Corner Clinic, is devoted exclusively to wellness & vaccination appointments for healthy pets. Dentistry

Just like humans, pets need to get their teeth cleaned too! Maintaining good oral hygiene can avoid a number of problems such as bad breath, rotting teeth, infections and heart problems. At Bolton Veterinary Hospital, our dental services include cleaning and polishing, digital dental X-rays, tooth extractions, and oral surgery.

Parasite Control

We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas and other parasites in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Pharmacy

We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets at the Pet’s Store Next Door. Custom orders (such as flavored medications or uncommonly used drugs) and home delivery are available through our partner pharmacy, Covetrus.

Nutritional Counseling

We will provide guidance regarding your pet’s nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance. If needed, consultations with university hospital nutrition services are available.

Microchipping

Not knowing where your pet might be and whether they are safe or not is a terrible feeling. Pets escape, they get lost and sometimes collars fall off. At Bolton Veterinary Hospital, we offer microchip implantation as a means of permanent identification. This simple procedure helps reunite lost pets with family.
