It has come to our attention that a feral cat, after biting a resident, was euthanized and subsequently tested positive for rabies in the area of Warehouse Point in East Windsor (Hartford Courant).
This news follows the report of a skunk that tested positive for rabies in Simsbury earlier this fall (Official Press Release from Simsbury Police Department).
Please ensure that your pet's rabies vaccination is up to date.
