Andrew Taylor

Joan L.

Andy has been with Bolton Veterinary Hospital since September, 1973, and is our Hospital Manager. What he enjoys the most about BVH is that "everyday is different, and each day something amazing happens here." He is a proud supporter of Allan's Angels Therapy Dogs, as his Irish Setter, Cedar, was the founding dog of the program. Currently Andy has a Labrador Retriever, Annie, and two orange cats, Bitey and Goldie. His hobbies include hiking, woodworking, and fine furniture making. He is also co-owner of Woodcraft Supply and the Connecticut Valley School of Woodworking in Manchester.

Joan started her career with Bolton Veterinary Hospital in December 1984. In over twenty-fivenyears, Joan has worked in almost every area of the hospital and she is now our Assistant Manager. Joan says it feels like she and BVH have grown up together and that it is a place of great integrity. Joan loves working with people who feel like family and who all care about the work they do together. Her "first" family consists of her very supportive husband, daughter, six cats, and one dog. All of her pets have been rescued. Joan's special projects at BVH include the Pet Adoption Program and the Allan Leventhal Memorial Fund. In 2005, Joan spearheaded the first "Adopt-a-Pet Fun Day" which was a huge success. She also enjoys the beach, working with stained glass, gardening, and reading. Joan says she is always in the middle of a book!
