Carol C.

Carol has been with us since February, 1986.  She possesses a B.S. in Renewable Natural Resources, and she came to our practice as a veterinary technician because she had previous experience in the field.  Over the years, Carol has come to feel that the staff here is her extended family.  Carol supervises our outpatient staff and spends much of her time keeping our computer system up to date, coordinating educational animal programs, and working on expanding our facility.  Carol is the wife of Dr. David Coley and spends a great deal of time with their children, Adam and Rachel.  Carol spends her free time reading, hiking, scrapbooking, and taking care of their many animals (tarantulas, snakes, birds, dogs, cats, and a chinchilla).  Chip, their Golden Retriever, is one of our Allan's Angels Therapy Dogs.

Lisa C., CVT

Lisa attended both Becker College and UCONN.  She has been with us since June, 1988.  She supervises our lab and outpatient staff.  She has many human and pet members in her family.  Her pets include a beagle (Daisy), a dachshund mix (Lily), a hound mix (Arlo), many cats and many farm animals.

Kristy D., CVT

Kristy joined our team in May, 1996, and is one of our inpatient supervisors.  What she enjoys the most about BVH is "the teamwork and dedication of the doctors and staff.  Everyone is committed to doing the best for our patients.  The doctors are patient, kind, and knowledgeable.  They are always keeping up with the changes in veterinary medicine and being open to new ideas.  The technicians are great!.  They are truly the heart and soul of BVH.  Their commitment to excellence and dedication to giving the best care possible are a large part of why BVH has been so successful."  Kristy's special interests are anesthesia, critical care, and surgery.  In her spare time she enjoys reading, hiking, and exercising.  She has two beautiful chocolate Labrador Retrievers and two beautiful children.

Carol F.

Carol graduated from Becker College with an A.S. in Animal Science in 1986, and later received an A.S. in Accounting and Business Administration from Manchester Community College.  She then sent out resumes to various hospitals listed in the phone book.  Luckily we were the first to call her, and she has been with us ever since!  Carol is trained to work in all areas of the hospital, and is one of our Outpatient Supervisors.  Her special interest is in pharmacology, and along with Lori P., manages our inventory.  She shares her home with one cat (Nala) and two very devoted dogs (Lola and Shelly).  Carol enjoys karaoke, spending time with her daughter, reading, needlework, balancing the books for her husband's business, and spending time outdoors.

Erin J., CVT

Erin is a UCONN graduate with a B.S. in Animal Science. She joined us in January, 2000, upon the recommendation of a friend, and has since been promoted to the position of Outpatient Supervisor. Erin enjoys working at BVH because we "work with the animals in a fun and educational environment." She is an avid hockey fan, enjoys trail riding, and is currently competing and training in Dressage. Her most recent equine endeavor is breaking her younger horse (Saphire). Besides Saphire, Erin has one other horse (Chilmark), six cats (Ollie, Monty, KC, Frankie, Lana, and Cooper), and a chinchilla (Stanley). When she is not in the saddle or watching a hockey game, she can be found spending quality time with her husband, making improvements to their house.

Kristin K., CVT

Kristin joined our team in October, 2003.  While she spent her first year of college studying Psychology, she decided to switch to an online program studying Animal Science.  She chose Bolton Veterinary Hospital because of the 24-hour emergency clinic that we offer, as well as for the teamwork and communication-oriented atmosphere.  Kristin also enjoys the endless opportunity for improving personal skills and knowledge that BVH affords.  She primarily works in our inpatient area, but can sometimes be found working in our outpatient areas too.  Kristin has four dogs (Katera, Treu, Wrigley, and Falcor) and ten cats (Marble, Fabian, Shelby, Phoenix, Willow, Maverick, Jonezie, Cote, Owen, and Hannah).  Her special interests include NASCAR, outdoor landscaping, flower gardening, and spending quiet time at home with her family.

Lori P.

Lori joined us in August 1991 because, as she says, "all the best pets come here." She came to us with a B.A. from UCONN and three years experience as a technician at a one-doctor practice. Lori now works as one of our supervisors and, along with Carol F., Lori handles our purchasing and inventory. She enjoys gardening and movies and can answer any pop culture trivia question you throw her way. Lori has two dogs, terrier named Nigel and a Pit Bull named Dora.

Corey P., CVT

Corey began working at BVH as a volunteer when she was 15 years old. She then got hired in 2002 to work as an animal care technician, and worked her way up over the years. She can now be found working as an inpatient technician with a special interest in farm animal medicine.  When she can, Corey enjoys volunteering her time at spay/neuter clinics such as ones for RAVS (Rural Area Veterinary Services.)
